Octopus Garden

This is a cast bronze miniature.
It is a part of my egg series.
Here two octopi are exploring an egg form. Two crabs are holding up the egg while standing on the top of a second egg.
It is a trilogy of pairs.
They are joined in a a vertical column. It is a very old way to place important forms.

There are secondary themes on the surfaces and in the shadows. Details of details, images and patterns. The tapestry of life.
