Lions symbolize authority. They flank the creator and extend his aura as the God Head.
The male and the creator figure both wear the mane of masculine dominance. I made each lock of hair in wax and placed them on the figures in stylized layers, like that of a classic roman sculpture.

The female lion is his feminine, intuitive side. She is peering beyond physical space. Her gaze matches that of the creator.

The original wax model, shown above, is about the
size of a quarter.
